Where I found useful wood shed plans and jumpstarted my woodworking skill
I wanted to build a shed in my backyard to have a tiny shade for the upcoming summer. After hours of looking through Google and in forums , I was getting frustrated. The DIY stores like Home Depot and Lowes are too costly for me right now. But, I stumbled upon CheapWoodShedPlans and MyShedPlans.
My 1st impressions seemed like it was a tiny excessive for my needs, as they have a long list of project plans. But, I downloaded the free plan and saw that it was merely what I was looking for. It has step by step instructions. I am a newbie and this made the entire project a breeze. It paid for itself with the money it saved me on my shed, and it was a lot more fulfilling to build my own shed than purchasing a DIY kit. MyShedPlan takes you from selecting the material to the last step. It holds your hand the entire way.
Now for the negatives: There are some plans that I will probably never need. I don’t plan on ever building a carport. So it seems like I paid for a tiny excess, but for I wanted it was ideal.
Some steps were a tiny difficult, but compared to the frustration of DIY kits with instruction manuals poorly translated into English. On 1st glance the diagrams and blueprints look overwhelming, but they are broken down into manageable chunks effectively.
I would advocate this product to anybody for any woodworking project, as it has the methods for general woodworking as well. Not only does it have the steps for a shed, it includes designs for everything from a chair-swing to a carport.
